Soil-less indoor farming is an up-and-coming trend in the agriculture sector, with special implications for urban farming. Nhut, who manages our Ho Chi Minh City site, has put together our first indoor hydroponic system for our Salicornia and is testing for use in wastewater treatment for indoor aquaculture farms, indoor farming, and as ornamental displays for restaurants.
At the moment we are nursing seedlings in trays, but will transfer to the hydroponic system once roots develop.
The lockdowns which have come as a result of the latest Covid-19 outbreak in Vietnam has stifled many businesses, but we consider ourselves lucky to be able to continue operating and remaining productive.
